Dress Code
APPROPRIATE DRESS
Please consider the following factors when deciding what to wear, common sense being the best determinant.
- Dress appropriately for the weather. If it is cold, please dress warmly and wear proper footwear, along with mittens, hats, etc.
- Dress so that your clothing is not a distraction to others.
- Students are asked to wear shoes that are safe and comfortable for a variety of classroom and playground activities. Flip flops and open sandals are not recommended as we have woodchips and pavement on our playground.
- During winter and spring "mud season" it is helpful for a child to have a change of clothing in his/her backpack in case of an accident on the playgound.
- During winter months, students are asked not to wear boots or snow pants inside during the day. Shoes or slipppers with a sole must be worn at all times.
- Students who wish to play in the snow at recess are required to have both boots and snow pants on.
