Dress Code

APPROPRIATE DRESS
Please consider the following factors when deciding what to wear, common sense being the best determinant.

  1. Dress appropriately for the weather.  If it is cold, please dress warmly and wear proper footwear, along with mittens, hats, etc.
  2. Dress so that your clothing is not a distraction to others.
  3. Students are asked to wear shoes that are safe and comfortable for a variety of classroom and playground activities. Flip flops and open sandals are not recommended as we have woodchips and pavement on our playground.
  4. During winter and spring "mud season" it is helpful for a child to have a change of clothing in his/her backpack in case of an accident on the playgound.
  5. During winter months, students are asked not to wear boots or snow pants inside during the day. Shoes or slipppers with a sole must be worn at all times.
  6. Students who wish to play in the snow at recess are required to have both boots and snow pants on.
