Principal's Message

Welcome to Paris Elementary School
I am excited to start my first year as the principal of Paris Elementary School and look forward to continuing my work with you and your children. I have been at Paris Elementary School/Fox School for the past twenty years and have worked as a kindergarten teacher, first grade teacher, literacy interventionist, and Reading Recovery teacher. For the past three years I have been the Assistant Principal at Paris Elementary School. I am committed to our school and community and will work hard to support our students, families and staff.
Paris Elementary School is a busy place. We have about 440 students from Pre K to grade 6. We are very fortunate at our school to have a tremendous staff who works together to create a positive, welcoming environment for our students and families. Decisions at the school level are always made with our students and families in mind. We want to ensure children are getting the best educational opportunities we can provide and we want parents to feel welcomed and engaged in their children's education. As an administrator, I spend a lot of time in classrooms observing the teaching that is happening and interacting with students. This is how I know what is taking place throughout our school and it helps me to make informed decisions regarding our school and children.
We want to hear from you. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please feel free to call the school or drop by for a visit. I will make myself available to meet with you to address any concerns you may have. Educating children works best when their is a partnership between school staff and families. We cannot do this without you and you know your children best. Please don't ever hesitate to give me a call or stop by the school to speak with me.
