RE: Superintendent Search

 
As you are all aware, Superintendent Rick Colpitts has announced his retirement, effective June 30, 2021. As Chair of the Board of Directors, I want you to know that the Board has begun preliminary work to move forward with a formal search for a new Superintendent.
 
The Board has formed an Ad Hoc Committee to outline a process and timeline for hiring a new superintendent. Once that process is approved by the Board I will be able to share more information and offer ways that you may participate or provide input. 
I anticipate the Board posting the position in the very near future.
 
In the meantime, I thank you for your attention and concern in this matter and I ask for your patience as we move forward with this process.
