Oxford Hills Scholarship Foundation

The Oxford Hills Scholarship Foundation was established 1998 when Dr. Mark Eastman, then Superintedendent of the  Oxford Hills School District, received an anonomous gift of 1 million dollars to encourage and promote college aspirations in the Oxford Hills School District.  The Bahre Family  of South Paris has helped to expand the Foundation's principal investment  with three additional $1 million dollar contributions. Many  community members have supported the growth of this fund that now exceeds $11 million in principal.  This is the largest public school  scholarship foundation supporting n New England.  Each year the Foundation contributes more than $600,000 to students graduating from the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School or who alumi requiring assistance to remain in college beyond the first year.
The Foundation continues to grow today thanks to the generousity of the Bahre family, alumni, parents and community members of the Oxford Hills region.  The Oxford Hills Scholarship Foundation is a 501-C3 non-profit charitable trust created to provide educational scholarships to graduates of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
