Giant Snowman made from students

Harrison students and staff are going for the gold, in this year's WinterKids WinterGames.

For the fifth year, Harrison Elementary School is competing with schools across the state during the four week competition. The goals are to get outside and active during winter, have fun, and maybe earn some funding to purchase more outdoor gear!

Our WinterGames2024 kicked off on Monday with a school wide assembly where one of our Oxford Hills Outdoor Educators told students about all the awesome outdoor opportunities they have here in the Oxford Hills, including Robert's Farm in Norway where there is free snowshoeing and cross country skiing available. We then moved outside to make small things become BIG using our bodies. Check out our video: https://www.canva.com/design/D... Afterwards, students celebrated by enjoying extra recess and playing in the snow.
