Week 3 of WinterKids is in the books!
Our region was coated with fresh ❄️snow ❄️over the past weekend-which means perfect conditions for sledding and outdoor winter activities!
HES Staff partnered with Harrison Rec to host a family night of sledding and Hot Chocolate! Temperature was perfect, and the snow was slick! We had a blast #CommunityBuilding #GetActive Video highlights of our sledding night ( https://drive.google.com/file/...)
Back at the school, students built snow people-collaboration and creativity was put to use! So fun seeing these snow creations out on the playground.
Students created personal flag pendents during art class. The pendents are displayed at school for our final week of WinterKids!
All week, families were also encouraged to join in on the fun by completing at home BINGO Board activities-we appreciate everyone who returned their boards and scored a BINGO-you helped us #GoForTheGold!
