WinterKids 2022 is in the books!
Harrison went for the gold and had a blast doing it! We won't know the official statewide results until next week-but no matter the outcome we are Winter Winners!
Wednesday was an all day WinterCarnival featuring a variety of outdoor competitions, where students competed to place in the top three spots! We were joined by Harrison Rec (snow painting) Healthy Oxford Hills/ 5210 (Snowshoeing) and Hannaford (hot chocolate), not to mention the staff of HES who helped run the events.
The WinterKids Winter Games 2022 concluded Friday afternoon with an exciting closing ceremony where the winners of each events were given their medals and cheered on by the whole school! Congrats to all students who put in their all to compete!
WinterKids events at Harrison Elementary School would NOT have been possible without the support of students, families, staff, and the WinterKids organization. Special recognition to Ms. Graffam-our WinterKids organizer extraordinaire-who put all the parts together to create an amazing month for all involved!
