It doesn't seem like the closing of the Winter Games already, yet here we are. Thankfully the Polar Air waited until after our Winter Carnival, and nature provided us with plenty of snow and sunshine on Wednesday!
Wednesday we spent all morning enjoying the outdoors, playing games like Ice Bowling (Thanks to Harrison Recreation!), sledding, drinking hot cocoa (Thank you Aroma Joe's!), building snow towers (with the help of some former HES students!), and just having fun together as a school community!
Afterwards, we closed out the 2023 WinterKids Winter Games by watching some video highlights and then creating a school wide snow sculpture spelling out H-E-S. What a great games it has been.
How will we place on the leaderboard??? STAY TUNED.
No matter the outcome, we had a BLAST and will be back next year ready to #GoForTheGold again.
