Of Thursday, March 14, Hebron Station School students and staff celebrated Pi Day, 3/14, which corresponds with the the number Pi, 3.141592653589793238.........., which is the ratio of the circumference of any circle to the diameter of that circle. We celebrated Pi Day with a tradition: a fundraiser for the student activity fund in which students gently throw pies into adults' faces. The afternoon event was held in our gym and was very entertaining for students. The event raised more than $500, which will help fund upcoming spring activities and field trips.
