Dear Incoming 4th Grade Parents:
Welcome to 4th grade! I am so excited for the new school year and I am looking forward to getting to know your child. I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I started my career in education in 2008. I was an educational technician supporting students with a variety of learning styles and needs. I loved teaching students so much that I went back to college and received my degree in elementary education so I could become a classroom teacher. I graduated in 2015 and I have been working in the Oxford Hills School District teaching 4th grade ever since.
Fourth grade will be an adventure! Students will experience new and challenging concepts across all the subject areas. Technology will be integrated into many aspects of their instruction. My goal is to challenge and inspire your child in all their learning.
In preparation for an awesome school year of learning and growing, your child will need the following supplies for 4th grade:
3 one-subject notebooks (red notebook for math, blue notebook for science, yellow notebook for social studies)
2 composition notebooks (standard black and white)
Notebook dividers
1 1-inch binder
Pencils
Markers
Crayons
Colored pencils
Scissors
Glue stick
Headphones OR Ear Buds (depending on your child’s preference)
