Dear OES Families,
After nine years as Principal of Oxford Elementary School, it is with mixed emotions that I write this letter to inform you that I will not be returning to OES in the fall. I have accepted a position as Principal of Pond Cove School in Cape Elizabeth and will begin my new assignment on July 1, 2023.
Let me begin by saying what an honor and privilege it has been to serve as the Principal of OES for these last 9 years. We have made tremendous progress as a school and I know that the staff and new administration will continue to make OES a great place to learn and grow. What makes OES so special are the families that we get to work with every day. I have loved watching your children grow up and know they will do great things as they continue to grow. I am honored to have been a small part of your child's education.
Superintendent, Heather Manchester, and Assistant Superintendent, Steve Ciembroniewicz, have begun the process of naming a new principal. More details will be shared with families once the process is underway. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I will continue to serve as the principal until the end of June.
Again, it has been an honor and a privilege to serve this community and I wish you well moving forward.
