Dear Oxford Elementary School Families,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am excited to let you know that I am transferring Jamey Martin, currently the principal at Hebron Station School, to serve as the next principal at OES. Ms. Martin is a veteran teacher and administrator, having taught 5th and 6th grades and Gifted and Talented in Lisbon schools for 17 years. Prior to her job at Hebron, Ms. Martin served as the Assistant Principal at Guy E. Rowe for four years.
Personally, I know Jamey to be both kind and firm with students, enthusiastic about teaching and learning, incredibly organized and detail-oriented, and an incredibly kind person. Given everything I’ve heard from staff, and from what I know about Oxford Elementary School, Ms. Martin will be a good fit for Oxford Elementary School.
