The State of Maine has announced pooled testing for COVID-19 in Maine schools will conclude this week. Each school will still have access to BinaxNow (the 15 minute antigen test) for students and staff who have been exposed or have symptoms. If your student did not participate in pooled testing and you would like them to have the ability to test at school, please complete the consent form. BinaxNow Consent Form
Frequent use of over-the-counter rapid antigen tests has become a very effective way to protect the health of school communities. The state is providing each school with home tests and we will distribute them to our families as soon as they are available.
Please continue to report positive cases on nights, weekends, and holidays/vacations using the following MSAD 17 COVID-19 Reporting Form
Pre-Screening for COVID symptoms should be done prior to arrival to school. Please DO NOT send your child to school with fever, body aches, vomiting, or new/persistent cough. Call your school nurse to coordinate testing.
