At WMS, we've created a bulletin board in the hallway to encourage more kindness in our school! You can never have too much!!!
Students are writing on a snowflake what kindness means to them. It is so fun watching the kids read what others wrote and agree with the other person's opinion. Spreading kindness one flake at a time!
If parents would like to send in a snowflake, please feel free to do so!

This scholarship is for a one week camp experience at the University of Maine 4H Camp at Bryant Pond! Please read the rules of the scholarship that are listed at the top of the form. Strange weather for December but staff and students are make the most of it!!!

Just a friendly reminder that we have our Holiday Concert coming up on Thursday, December 19th at 1:45 in the Gymnasium. You all are invited to attend this wonderful event!
Also, December 20th is a half day for students, they will be dismissed at 12:05pm.

First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the PTO and the volunteers who assisted with the Holiday Shopping events in Waterford and Harrison. Our students are always thrilled to shop for their family members. We always appreciate the support of our PTO, families, and community members.
Additionally, it appears that tonight's weather may be challenging. In the event of a delayed start, please note that there will NOT be an early release for students; they will be dismissed at the regular time of 3:10.

Last call for the gift card fundraiser! We all need to grocery shop so why not buy a gift card through the fundraiser to help support PTO?! Giving a gift card for Christmas? For a birthday? Purchase through PTO!

We still have a lot of families who have not completed OLR and we need this filled out every year for updates, for the nurses, for school staff to reach you in case of an emergency. It is crucial families complete this.
The online registration is replacing the paper packets that were sent home in the beginning of the year. We are trying to be as environmentally conscious as we can. Please visit www.msad17.org and click on "Enroll Your Child."

Kindergarten students have done some amazing writing and they had the opportunity to showcase their published pieces as a group along with Mrs. Emery! Way to be writing rockstars, kindergarten!!!
Friday is the last day to shop the book fair at WMS!
Here is a friendly reminder that picture retake day is tomorrow, Thursday 10/24. The photographer will be at Waterford first then make their way to Harrison.
ALSO!!! We are having Spirit Week next week! If you need a flyer you can ask your childs teacher for one, they will not be sent home otherwise. (I really, really don't like being wasteful! - Mrs. Rudman) The daily themes have been chosen by the student leadership team of Harrison and they are fantastic!!!
Picture retake day will be October 24 starting at 9am.
Bruce Haskell Photography will be at Waterford for 9am then head to Harrison after they have finished at Waterford.
