Kids felt right at home in the woods behind out school. Tree climbing is allowed in the playground in the new forest playground, as long as you climb no higher than your own shoulders. Sticks are okay, too, as long as they are used safely.
Volunteers, both parents and students, worked from 4:00 to 6:00 PM last Thursday to clear away brush from our new forest playground. Students had their first day of play in it yesterday.

Solar Eclipse Recycling!
We were wowed by Monday's eclipse. The Girl Scouts at Hebron Station School are collecting solar eclipse glasses to ship for students in Latin America. They are getting an eclipse this August. Please send in your used glasses and we will make sure they get there in time. Look for a collection box in the HSS lobby.

March 18th we are having our Rainbow treat day for students to try something new and something in every color of the rainbow. Please see flyer for more information. These will be also coming home today as a hard copy for each student. Thank you for your help with this fun experience.

Dear Hebron Families:
Power came on at Hebron Station School at approximately 5:30 yesterday evening. Fortunately temperatures at our well insulated school school never dipped below 64 degrees. I hope your power is on or comes on soon and wish you a merry Christmas and happy holidays.
Hebron Station School's chorus, which is comprised of fifth and sixth graders, sang "Jingle Bell Rock" to the school community during our whole school morning meeting this morning.
Sprit week starts Wednesday. Don't forget to dress up.
