It's Read Across America Week at Hebron Station School . Wednesday was dress-up-as-a-character day! We had five crayons from, "The Day the Crayons Quit."

Fire Safety Week!
On Thursday, October 17, Travis Brennan, a Volunteer Firefighter for the Hebron Fire Department, came to school to educate all our students, preschool through grade six, about fire safety at home and how firefighters work to save lives. Each grade level group also had an opportunity to get out and see the big truck!

Hebron First Graders visited the Oxford County Fair today, along with other children from the region. September 11 was education day at the fair and admission for school groups was free!

We are taking advantage of the wonderful late summer weather. We've recently installed a meeting space with benches under the shade of an apple tree. Teachers attended a meeting there yesterday during our professional learning time. Class groups can sign up to use the space.

Last week a crew came to Hebron Station School to repair the damage caused by a marauding late-night driver in early spring. The ground has been seeded on the portions of the playground and fields that were damaged.
