We are writing to remind you that our annual Respect Day will be held on Wednesday, April 8th. This student-led event allows our students to interact with a variety of workshops offered by community partners and educators to help prepare them for global citizenship and cultural understanding. It is similar to Winter Carnival, because students can choose from a variety of different activities. Some activities that will be offered are Ukrainian Egg Decorating, a Community Policing Panel, and Disability History & Self-Advocacy. A full list of current activities can be seen at the link here. Our district's mission and goals align directly in preparing students to become responsible, productive twenty-first century citizens. Students are in the process of signing up now. To make this as successful as possible, we are asking for your support. Please have discussions at home about activities and programming and please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Thank you,

The OHCHS CARE Team

The OHCHS National Honor Society had fun at their annual banquet and convention! Cedar Worster, the Maine National Honor Society Representative at Large, helped in planning the convention, and even led a workshop! Students participated in various workshops centered around resilience. It was a fantastic experience for our young leaders!
