If you were unable to attend the meeting this morning about prom, please review the information below. We want you to enjoy the night and have fun, but your safety is our top priority.
Prom Policies & Rules
You must arrive halfway through Prom (8:30pm). If you are unable to do so, you must obtain permission beforehand from one of the building administrators.
We will NOT be escorting students to their cars once they enter prom. Please be sure to bring what you need with you into the building.
Our school resource officer will be present at Prom as well as an Auburn Patrol Officer
Students will not be allowed to bring backpacks with them to the dance. If one is brought, it will be put in a locked room for the remainder of the dance.
No one will be allowed to bring any type of beverage and/or food into the venue
No one over the age of 20 or below the 9th grade will be allowed as a guest
Violations of school rules while at the dance may result in disciplinary action. This is a school event. School rules and expectations apply.
If you are suspended from school at the time of Prom, you are not allowed to attend
Administrators have the right and duty to administer a Breathalyzer test to any student suspected of consuming alcohol
We have notified police departments between Oxford Hills and Lost Valley that 350+ students will be going through. Your safety is our priority
We will have snacks & drinks at no cost
We have paid for an Interactive photo booth for students at no cost, students can print photos and have photos sent to them digitally
We will have a roped-off area outside the venue that will be for use (pending weather) with corn hole and other lawn games.
Will will also provide some board games and card games in the seating area.
When you come into the building there will be two check-in tables. You may check in at either table, please give them your LAST name as it will be alphabetical. If you signed someone up to be your guest, they MUST arrive with you at the check-in table.

2nd Annual OHCHS Career Fair
The 2nd Annual OHCHS Career Fair will be this Thursday, April 27th from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm. Businesses will be here with full-time, part-time, and seasonal job openings as well as highlighting future possibilities. Other organizations will be representing career opportunities such as apprenticeships or workforce development opportunities.
Students who bring copies of their resume should stop in at the head table to be entered into a drawing for prizes!

The Oxford Hills Boys and Girls Nordic Teams competed at the State in Fort Kent over Feb. vacation. It was a two day event with Both Boys and girls skiing a race each day. Day one was the Classic race and day two was a Freestyle pursuit. In the Classical race the boys were led by Cameron Sherbinski finishing in 19th with Dean Rudman 21st, Noah Damon-Travers 33rd, Gabe Dos Reis 38th, Ronan Brown 42nd, Riley Woodworth 43rd and Carson Holme 46th. In the Girls Classic race Meredith Harthorne finished in 14th followed by Mackenzie Van Nest 22nd and Emily Sanborn 34th.
In the Freestyle Pursuit on day two the boys were again lead by Cameron Sherbinski in 17th followed by Dean Rudman in 20st, Noah Damon-Travers 36th, Gabe Dos Reis 39th, Ronan Brown 43rd, Riley Woodworth 44th and Carson Holme 46th. In the girls Freestyle pursuit Meredith Harthorne was 14th followed by Mackenzie Van Nest 21st and Emily Sanborn 35th.
By combining the scores from day one and two both boys and girls Nordic teams finished in 7th place overall.
They also received the Sportsmanship Award for 2023 as voted on by all the Coaches state-wide.
Congratulations to the Boys Basketball Team for a great season and making it to the regional championship.
Congratulations to the Girls Basketball Team who won the regionals and will be going to the state championship game on Saturday.

At the KVAC Ski Championships held last week the Boys Nordic team finished 4th. Cameron Sherbinski led the way finishing in 16th followed by Dean Rudman 26th, Cody Roy 31st, Noah Damon-Travers 37th, Ronan Brown 59th, Carson Holme 70th and Blake True 80th. The Girls Nordic team finished 5th with Meredith Harthorne finishing 19th followed by Mackenzie Van Nest in 41st, Emily Sanborn 51st and Elizabeth Hussey 67th.
In the Alpine & Nordic Combined team scores Oxford Hills finished 3rd.
The Alpine Ski team also competed this past weekend in the KVAC Alpine Ski Championship at Titcomb Mountain. Both the Boys and Girls teams finished in fourth place. Congratulations to both Alpine Ski teams. Good luck in the State Championship race this Wednesday and Thursday at Saddleback.
